A Study of Roadway Alternatives for the Meadow Creek Parkway in McIntire Park - this is the report prepared by Rieley and Associates for the City of Charlottesville evaluating 4-lane, 3-lane, and 2-lane designs for the portion of the project in McIntire Park [McIntire Road Extended].


The following public hearing documents on Meadow Creek Parkway / McIntire Road Extended are available:

McIntire Road Extension Design Hearing - May 1999 - this is the most recent design presented by VDOT to the public for the portion of the Meadow Creek Parkway between US Route 250 Bypass and Melbourne Road.

VDOT design recommendation for McIntire Road Extension in response to May 1999 Design Hearing - this indicates that VDOT engineering staff did not support a 2-lane parkway.

Route 631 / Meadow Creek Parkway Albemarle County Design Hearing - March 20, 2003 - this hearing was cancelled by request of both Albemarle County and the City of Charlottesville because the road was road was being proposed as a 4-lane rather than 2-lane facility.

Route 631 / Meadow Creek Parkway Albemarle County Design Hearing - March 16, 2004 - this is the most recent design presented by VDOT to the public for the portion of the Meadow Creek Parkway between Melbourne Road and Rio Road.
