The FACS Classes are looking for donations of socks, shirts and jeans for our classroom upcycling projects. Please send in with students and have them bring them to Mrs. Valek or the sewing room labeled upcycling.
6th Grade Sewing Supply List:
Project: Pillow
FABRIC: 1/2 yard of cotton or cotton polyester print or solid
NOTIONS: 1 bag of stuffing and 1 spool of matching thread
7th Grade Sewing Supply List:
FABRIC: 1 yard of Broadcloth or poplin or cotton print or solid
NOTIONS: 1 package twill of 1 inch twill tape and 1 spool of matching thread
8th Grade Sewing Supply List: Project: Shorts/Pants
FABRIC: Broadcloth, poplin or cotton/cotton polyseter print or solid
Shorts: 1 1/2 yards
Pants: 2 5/8 yards of 44/45 inch fabric or 1 1/2 yards of 58/60 inch fabric
NOTIONS:1 yard of 3/4 inch elastic and spool of matching thread
