World Beer
One
common problem in brewing is that the Specific Gravity will not come down to
the required level. This will happen due to incorrect fermentation process
Improvement of the process can occur in the following ways-
Ensure the wort is sterilisedand in good working order. (I recommend Neo-Pink)
Locate the wort in area which aids the most even temperature .
Maintain the temperature within 1 or 2 degrees throughout the fermentation process.
Ensure yeast is added correctly and is not past its use by date.
Remember - Some recipes require higher Specific Gravities !!
Another
problem is that the beer is too flat
This
could be rectified by -
Keep beer at least 5 weeks before using
Allow bottles enough heat to achieve secondary fermentation
Putting "primer" in the bottles.
Rinse the steriliser completely out of the bottles
Cap the bottles recurely
