Advocating for fair health care coverage for people suffering with infertility

People in the state of Virginia are being forced into childlessness today.

Currently, about 10% of people have problems with infertility.  Treatment for infertility is costly, time-consuming, and emotionally exhausting.

However, most insurance companies do not cover treatment for infertility.

In order to have a child, couples have to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket.  Some will sell their home, move to a new state, change jobs, or take out loans just to have a child.

Some states now mandate that insurance companies cover infertility treatment because it is a basic life function and a dysfunction of a bodily system.  Studies have shown that this costs the average member $2-3 a month.  Are you willing to donate this much to help someone have a child of their own?
