Carmel Max Pollard

WEST JORDAN, Utah -- Carmel Max Pollard, 56, a graduate of Newport News High School, Class of 1962, and a North Carolina native, died Sept. 16, 2000. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Sunnyside Municipal Park, Salt Lake City, Utah. Boles Funeral Home & Crematory, Southern Pines, N.C., is in charge.

Carmel Max Pollard, 56, of West Jordan, Utah died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000 at his home. Born in Waynesville, NC, he graduated from the Newport News High School and entered into the US Marine Corps and was employed at the Atwood Mobile Products Company in Salt Lake City. Survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max D. Pollard of Asheboro, NC and his sister, Gloria D. Guin of Aberdeen, NC. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000 at 2 p.m. in the Sunnyside Municipal Park in Salt Lake City.
