Glenn Emery Barkley

Glenn Emery Barkley, 57, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001, in Pascagoula, Miss. A native of Newport News, Va., and a resident of Pascagoula, Miss., since 1977, Mr. Barkley was employed at Ingalls Shipbuilding as a Naval art designer. Mr. Barkley was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was an avid golfer. Preceded in death by parents, Martin Tracy and Doris Barkley, and a sister, Beryl Rouse, he is survived by wife, Sandy Delia Barkley of Pascagoula, Miss.; sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin Glenn and Jacqueline Barkley of Virginia Beach, Va., and Donald Lee and April Barkley of Norfolk, Va.; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Alex and Pam Delia of Pascagoula, Miss., and Paul and Lisa Delia of Evergreen, Colo.; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, and the service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula, Miss. Interment will be in Jackson County Memorial Gardens, Pascagoula, Miss. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
