Wildwoods International Kite Festival, 2001

Welllllllll, Wildwood.... for the past 2 years I have wanted to go to Wildwood, but the last week of school (and exams) were always right after Wildwood making it hard to consider going. But now I didn't have any excuse not to go and I'm glad I did. It was great. I got to hang out with alot of great people again, enjoyed watching my first real indoor thing, liked the Hot Tricks Shootout, and pretty much everything. And the best part? While the rest of the east coast was enjoying rain, we had mid 70's and nothing more than the threat of rain. And Sunday was just that, sunny. Overall an awesome event. Can't wait until next year.

My first KAP attempts... Lessons learned: A. get a lighter rig, B. get a bigger kite, or C. fly in more wind. It won't hurt for me to practice aiming more too...
