When traveling in the Roanoke, Virginia area,
be sure to visit the Virginia Museum of Transportation.
Visit their web site for hours of operation and a
list of railroad equipment on display. The
highlight of this museum is the Norfolk &
Western Railway 611 steam locomotive and an
operating O gauge model railroad layout.
Mr. Harrold Little is a collector of toy trains
of all sizes and scales. To share his collection
with the public he opend a small museum in
Tyler, Texas. Join us in a stroll through
A friend of mine, also in East Texas, has built
a nice layout in his barn. He calls it the
ISD & FA Railroad. Don't ask me what
that stands for but he can tell you. Take a look

Billed as the only 3-rail traveling toy train display in
East Texas, the guys of the Loblolly Railroad
have taken their trains to the kids of Longview and Tyler,
Texas. Check out this web site for pictures of the shows
they have attended and the differant layouts they build
for each show. So far the same train display has not been
used twice.
