Adult Involvement
Adventurers Core Coordinators
These volunteers work under the direction of the
council's program director. Their
responsibilities include registering members and
compiling event packets. They recruit, train and
provide support for event coordinators.
Event Coordinators
These volunteers are the backbone of
Adventurers. They are adults who are interested
in challenging activities and leaders who are
willing to plan and carry out individual events.
Wild women's (& men's) weekend
This event is the annual training for
Adventurers'' adult volunteers. The weekend
includes:
Networking with other coordinators
Experiencing challenging activities.
Participating in team-building exercises.
Learning the basics of planning an Adventurers''
event.
Enjoying the company of other volunteers with
similar interests.
Joining in on the fun and food at the annual
awards banquet.
