Jesus Saves
I sit here alone in this darkened room.
I have no one to care for me and I am lonely you see.
The sky is dark, there is no moon.
I wonder if Jesus is coming for me.
I read His Word and He speaks so gentle to my ear.
His words just wipe away all my fear.
I can see Him as I lie asleep.
He covers me with His hand to keep.
I wish you could know all that my eyes have seen.
I died one night, it wasn't a dream.
I was carried by angels to a awesome place.
And I saw Jesus face to face.
His hair was white as the finest wool on His form.
His skin was bronze without wrinkle or spot.
His voice was like the mighty thunder in a storm.
Yet He was kind and gentle, his eyes red like fire hot.
His lips never moved as He showed me my life.
His thoughts passed to my mind in a split second it seemed.
I stood in awe, such a awesome sight.
Power pure from His presence streamed.
The music was the most beautiful I've ever heard.
I was so happy and I didn't want to come back.
I felt as free and the baby bird.
Yet there was something down here I found I lacked.
So back into my body of clay I came.
I had to finish my work on earth and time was running out.
Jesus didn't look exactly the same.
But I knew in a moment it was Him without a doubt.
You see when He walked these streets of dust.
He wanted us to be able to communicate with Him as a man.
Now, in heaven He is God the Almighty and He holds our trust.
I don't think it will be long till I see Him again.
This earth is getting closer and closer to the war of all wars.
If you will read in the Bible you will know what God tells.
People are going to hell in scores.
But I am going to finish this race without fail.
Time is passing day by day.
Are you ready to be taken away?
Are you ready to meet Him today?
Time is passing, Listen to what the Master has to say.
"I'm coming back some day or night.
I'm coming back just like I said.
I'm coming back in power and might.
I'm coming back just like you read"!
