Taking big rips:
When I talk about taking big rips I'll use a bong as the example. I find it easiest to get a big hit by waiting for the chamber to fill with smoke as you inhale, then after it's full keep inhaling for a little bit and after that just release the shotgun and you should clear all the smoke from the bong into your lungs. This is where most people mess up. After you let go of the shotgun and it forces all the smoke into your lungs you have to hold the smoke in. Holding the smoke in your lungs will get you more fucked up. Hold that big hit in as long as you can and then exhale. You might cough you might not, if you cough oh well, you also get more fucked up from coughing too. If you wanna take a big hit off a pipe or bowl just inhale untill your lungs are full and then release the shotgun if there is one. I think holding the smoke in is the best tip when it comes to smoking. If you want to get fucked up you hold the smoke in as long as you can and take the biggest hits you can.
Cherrying the bowl:
If you want the bud cherried (this means the bud stays burning and red) simply start your hit off with the lighter then stop and take short quick hard hits. This is most easily done on pipes or bowls. The basic purpose is so that you dont have no light your green, but I think you get a better hit if you have fire to it so the weed burns better but it really doesnt matter most of the time.
Hard to hit?:
If your sucking really hard on the pipe or bong and getting a very small amount of smoke, something is clogged. In a bong it is most likly the screen thats clogged. You can clear it using a needle. Just poke and scrape at the screen but try not to put holes in it, or you could just replace the screen. If thats not it than it has to be the stem. If the stem on your bong comes out, take it out and clean it. All that black sticky stuff is resin and you can smoke it like bud to get fucked up.
In a pipe or bowl if it's clogged it's either the screen or tube where the smoke flows. Clean both.
