During "Current Events" study, many children have been asking questions about the current war. We have invited the current Commanding Officer of the local Naval Base, Captain Stanton, to speak to the children on April 10, 2003 at 10:00am.

All parents are invited to attend if they wish.

In the meantime, we have been studying the United States of America and have sent an "on-line greeting" to our service members. Anyone wishing to do so, the link is attached for you below.

  • We will be taking a field trip to the National Zoo on April 10th. Permission slips will be sent home on April 4th and must be returned by April 9th.

  • During the month of April, we will be beginning our French language introduction. Children will be learning about France during this language lesson and will be creating wonderful French decorations for our classroom wall!
