Uses a variety of assessments to monitor and modify instructional content and strategies.

I frequently evaluate student progress through various means, including in class questioning, journal entries during morning work, student participation in class and at the board, as well as self-made and standardized assessment. Assessment forms such as edutest allow me to see a breakdown of where each individual, as well as the class as a whole, is struggling. This information is vital in refocusing my teaching strategies and areas of concentration. I have often used edutest benchmark results, nine weeks tests and retests, and several in-class edutests to judge where each person stands at different intervals of the year.
