This is a very basic page that at some point I may get motivated to make more
interesting. Then again, perhaps not. My main intention is to put up some things
that I would like to think some people would be interested in reading. And to
put it out there now. So here it is for better or worse.

Memoirs of a Moto
In 2001 I became involved with charity events benefiting organizations providing
testing, treatment and services to those affected by HIV/AIDS. Also, benefiting
research organizations attempting to find a vaccine for this terrible disease.
In 2001 I participated in the DC AIDS Ride 6 benefiting Whitman Walker Clinic
and Food and Friends. I also participated in the Canada to US AIDS Vaccine Ride
benefiting UCLA, Emory University, and the Aaron Diamond Research Center all
trying to develop a vaccine for HIV/AIDS.
In 2002 I participated in DC AIDS Ride 7 and will be participating in CA->US 2.
These events have had a profound impact on me. After DCAR6 I decided to write
something for myself to document my memories. I had planned to do the same for
CA->US 1 but the events of 9/11/01 forced my attention elsewhere of course. I
did complete one for DCAR7. For those that are interested in the perspective of
a member of the volunteer Motorcycle Saftey Crew (Moto) you are welcome to read
about my experiences. There are even some pictures!
