Towering Presence
Here are some pictures I took out West at the Hoover Dam. The low level of Lake Mead makes for some cool pictures.
One of these days I will get around to posting the rest of the pictures from that day.
Spillway
According to Wikipedia the spillway has only been necessary once since it was tested in 1941. It's pretty obvious in this picture that it will take quite a bit of precipitation to need it anytime soon.
Covered in Leaves
We got this shot of our Nephew over homecoming weekend while he was playing in the leaves. It must be fun to play in a pile that's a couple of times bigger than you.
As always (I might have a sickness or merely an addiction), I've Photoshoped it to give it a more dramatic effect.
Since this was taken over homecoming weekend, here's
the link to that page.
My logo
Here's my little tree from Monterey. I thought I might put this up because I am always talking about traveling to Monterey, CA for work.
I've turned it into a logo of sorts since I have a fondness for the little guys. They are stunted from the beat down they get from the elements.
Here's a link to the pictures I have taken of
the landscape out there. It's awesome! I hope the pictures do it justice.
Warm Bloom
Kate took this picture when our Hybiscus bloomed. It was a pleasant reminder of warm days in the middle of the winter.
I've Photoshoped it a little to give it the contrast it deserves: red hot on cold and dark.

Desert Rain
I took this picture in Albuquerque, NM in the fall of 2003 stainding on the porch of my apartment.
While I was there for three months all the locals
could talk about was how much rain we were getting. However, the light mist was not something I was accustom to
considering a lot of rain being from the East Coast.

More pictures will be added later as well.
Road to Nowhere
This picture is from a trip to Arizona. The road we were on took a turn and you lost sight of it with the Painted
Desert on the horizon.
It kind of makes me think of life... You may know what road you are on, but you don't always know where you will
end up.

Sparkler Art
This is a fun picture of everyone playing with sparklers. Time lapse photography and sparks make for the greatest pictures.

The High One
This is a beautiful panaramic of North America's highest peak Mt. McKinley, or as the natives call it, Denali meaning "The High One" and the Alaska Range. We were lucky enough to have a clear day the last time we passed it on our trip. Overall, we traveled about 2600 miles across the Alaska landscape.
We finally have a slideshow posted for viewing. Just follow this link.
