Who Could Forget Nadine?

Nadine was a foreign exchange student my Senior year. We hit it off quite well and became the best of friends. She easily fit into our group and everyone liked her alot. She was also an amazing person. Her good spirit and wonderful outlook on life made her a very positive person. She was someone who could always make me smile and was always there when my heart was breaking. She may be back in Germany now, but that hasn't broken our bond. I believe that we will be friends until the day we die.

Nadine use to spend lots of nights at my house. We would stay up for hours talking and laughing and just sharing things like best friends do. We would often watch movies until late in the night and then after the company left is when our little chats would begin. It was usually the simple stuff like, why didn't you sit by him??? Or, did you see the way that he looked at me?? He must hate me. :) I cannot wait until I go to Germany to visit her. I know that we will pick up on the late night conversations once again.

Our senior year we played softball together. Our team didn't do so well throughout the season but suprisingly enough when we got to sectionals we went far, like all the way. We lost the final game, but it was not upsetting. No one expected us to make it as far as we did, but we proved them all that we could do anything that we wanted. Our coaches were amazing people that year and were a lot of fun to play for, which was one of the reasons that I think we did so well. The time that we spent together on first base will not be forgotten.
This picture of us was taken at Walt Disney World on our Senior trip. We spent the entire trip together. We almost got ourselves into a couple of fights at different places, but we managed to survive. I had never seen Nadine be pushy before, and I really didn't think that she had it in her, but when we were at the Mardi Gras and she wanted to get closer and hold her spot, NO ONE was going to budge her or push her around. I recall seeing Nadine doing some of her own pushing!
