Statement of Purpose

The Holocaust cannot be depicted in its entirely by one website. This historical event is complex, and many have dedicated their lives solely to scholastic research on the topic. I chose the topic of this site because I feel that every attempt should be made in educating the public about the horror of the Holocaust. This site examines one gruesome aspect of the Holocaust: The Nazis use of Jewish prisoners in cruel and inhumane experiments for medical and scientific research, and some performed out of sadistic pleasure. .

 

WARNING

This site was designed for a mature audience desiring a deeper knowledge of the Nazis' cruel treatment of the Jewish people. Some of the information and photographs may be disturbing. Many sites do not want to focus on the most horrible angles of the Holocaust. To ignore the uncomfortable factors is to trivialize the event. I chose the topic for this site because I know that it would not be a desirable task for many others; yet this information is vital for creating a complete image of the suffering that took place.
