BORDER COLLIES

We have two Border Collies herding our flocks. Molly, our bitch, is eight years old. Molly is sired by Diaz's Moss and out of Conn's Jane and has four International Champions in her pedigree. We have recently imported Lad from Wales. He has tremendous speed and an exceptional outrun, since in most cases on our farm, he is working out of the handler's sight. He works very well with our show sheep, as he possesses great "eye" and works primarily head on with the sheep, not needing to nip. Lad is available for stud service.

However, since we have Border Collies because we have sheep and not the reverse...... We only occasionally have puppies available, depending on Molly's and our work schedules.

Molly and Lad live in our house and are well socialized. They are not crazy when taken to the sheep and have learned to handle our ewes with care, while still maintaining control of the flock. A special treat is watching
