The Cloud ©
This morning I gazed to the sky
There I saw a cloud up on high
It was so clean and very white
It looked to be extremely light
It floated slowly across the sky
A cloud it seems never does die
It moves farther on and goes away
I always can find it another day
Think of that water they carry inside
Their color gets dark and they can't hide
Without the clouds the sky would be bare
No decor hanging around anywhere
Sometimes there's a big meeting of the clouds
They spit out fire with thunder so loud
The wind comes and blows them out
Anywhere it wants for the wind is stout
Where are the clouds when not in my eye
Out there somewhere in another person's sky

Creatures Scrambled ©
Squirrels and bears and dogs and cats
Turkeys and quail, bluejays and bats
Creatures of the day, creatures of the night
Creatures seen, creatures out of sight
Squirrels bury nuts, bears eat honey
Dog chases cats and cats act funny
Turkeys can run, quails can fly
Bluejays go low and bats soar high
Many, many creatures, many, many things
Some of them growl, some of them sing
Whales and turtles, lizards and mice
Ticks and fleas, chiggers and lice
Whales splash high, turtles move slow
Lizards lie still, mice on the go
Ticks eat red, fleas do bite
Chiggers irritate and lice live quiet
Creatures over here, creatures over there
Creatures that fear, creatures that don't care
Snake and snail, ostrich and goose
Lion and zebra, crocodile and moose
Snake do sneak, snail do poke
Ostrich eat sand, goose don't joke
Lion big roar, zebra not bad
Crocodile bite sharp, moose looks sad
Creatures that scare
Creatures that creep
Some are afraid
Others just peep
Creatures looking weird
Some ferrous ones
Others not feared
Creatures, Creatures, Creatures
All with different features

Job Secure ©
Swept up is all the dirt
Mopped up are the tracks
Wiped up is the spills
Cleaned are the crannies and cracks
Glass cleaned crystal clear
Fountains are perfectly dried up
Odors polutting in the air
All killed with sweet smelling stuff
Trash cans all made empty
Lights all serviced to burn
Doors all close smoothly
All the knobs do turn
Commodes all stay flushed
Porcelain sinks made to shine
Toilet tissue is stocked
Paper towels ready to dry
Cigarrette butts are policed up
Papers and wrappers part of the job
Scrape up that chewing gum
No matter how big the gob
The old janitor's work never stops
His job is pretty well secure
Cause there'll always be dirt and filth
That's one thing we know for sure

Dollar Bill ©
He is loved by so many
He is seeked for everyday
He is sometimes hard to get
He is pursued in many a way
He can take you to the top of the world
He can take you to the bottom of the sea
He can make you to sparkle and shine
He can dine you extravagantly
He sometimes travels in great numbers
He has an army powerful and strong
He can possess anything or anyone
He has no feelings for right or wrong
He can cause you much trouble
He can bring you much pain
He can keep you in the storm
He can drown you in the rain
He can be used for good
He can be used for bad
He can destroy your soul
He can be a friend you wish you never had

Depression ©
Dreading to go to bed at night
Hating to get up at daylight
Wishing not to go to the job
Wishing in vain only to sob
Seeing no hope for anything
Having nothing for which to cling
No desire for anything to possess
Everything looks as a terrible mess
Feeling so tired, exhausted and wore out
Trying to figure what it's all about
Can't work on one thing at a time
Where to start, the beginning can't find
Inside carrying an empty load
With head cluttered about to explode
Thoughts coming in from future time
Looking ahead at things that make blind
Searching to find what is the wrong
The everyday hunt is so long
There seems to be nothing in sight
Can't get free from this miserable fight
