Born in DC but raised mostly in Anne Arundel Co. Md
Most of my mothers family lives in Culpeper Co Va. I moved there in 1986 and lived there raising my son Thomas until 2003 when I got remarried and moved to the Valley. I married Jeff Brown from here in Harrisonburg.
The years I spent in Culpeper I worked full time at a plastics plant as a printer and part time at the Bike Stop in Culpeper as a mechcanic and ski repair tech (they have a ski and board shop in the winter as well). I was also a snowboard instructor at Massanutten the last 3 years I lived in Culpeper. My dream was to do the bike shop/snow thing full time once my son got out of high school.
A combination of things made the dream a reality. My new husband is very supportive and said I should be doing what I love. So Last winter I worked at Massanutten as a fulltime ski repair tech.
At the end of winter Jeff ran into Les and found out Les was going on the road this year and needed some help. That's when I started working at ECBA.
