They are also 8-0 alltime vs. Brentsville with 3 of those wins coming in the playoffs (1988, 1999, 2000)

BUFFALO GAP INFO:

-Madison is 16-4 alltime vs. Gap including a 48-7 blowout in last years Region B semifinals. In that game, Raymond Kirkley set a MCHS single-game rushing record, running for 313 yards on just 14 attempts. Juan Brown caught 5 passes for 174 yds. and 3 TDs. Mark Gordon was 6 of 12 for 193 yds. and 4 TDs.

-Gap (7-4) has beaten Parry McCluer (34-24), Covington (21-7), Page Co. (33-12), Luray (20-14), Wilson Memorial (37-12), Stonewall Jackson (42-14) and Amelia (39-0 in the other regional semifinal game). Losses were to Ft. Defiance (41-7), Turner Ashby (40-7), Riverheads (19-14) and Bath Co. (12-7). All the teams Gap lost to, with the exception of Ft. Defiance, advanced to the playoffs and won their opening round games.

OTHER STUFF:

-The Gap-Madison winner will advance to the state semifinals to take on the Region A champ. That game will be hosted by the Region B team on Sat. 11/23. King William (9-2) travels to New Kent (10-1) this Saturday to decide the Region A title. Both those teams scored easy wins in their opening round games.

-Coach Eddie Dean is inching closer to the 300 win mark. His career record now stands at 293-100-4 (.743)
