High School Cheerleaders
Welcome the the James River High School varsity cheerleaders web page. Our Page is new to the web so we will be updating frequently. We are now well in the midst of our 2001-2002 season. This summer we attended the ECA camp at Longwood College. When we attended camp we had 11 girls and 2 guys. Although in my personal opinion we were awesome, camp was a struggle. We came away with a couple of Superior Ribbons, 2 All-Americans, and 2 BAC nominees. The two captains were also invited to try out to be members of the ECA Summer Staff. At camp we were still learning to work together as a team. However, we have improved greatly since July. As we have just begun boys baseketball season, we are enjoying the non-district games where we can stunt. We have been hard at work on our off days preparing for our FIRST competitve season. We are planning to attend either the ECA open competition in March, or the Kings Dominion Paramount Classic in April. Feel free to come out and watch the games, below is a schedule for the 2001-2002 boys basetball season.
