Welcome to CEHR "The Coalition for Equality and Human Rights."We have been unable to update the page over the last few months but we hope to be able to work more on it soon. The Coalition was founded in July of 1999 under the name AAR "Americans Against Racism." We later changed the name to "For a World Without Racism." Later we decided a new and final name change was necessary inorder to fulfill our new mission. After a vote by the board we decided on CEHR "The Coalition for Equality and Human Rights." This name change shows our new mission.
The Coalition is a anti-racism, anti-Discrimination, anti-Bigotry and Civil Liberties organization. Our Executive Director is Mr. C. Aaron Henkel, who also founded the organization, and is a proud card carrying member of the ACLU. He is also volunteering for the Mark Warner (D) for Governor (Virginia) campaign. The Assocaite Director is Ms. Helenia Mitchell, who co-founded the organization. She currently resided in Maryland.

The mission of CEHR is to work against racism, anti-Semitism, discrimination and all forms of bigotry.
We will not tolerate discrimination or hate directed to individuals due to age, race, sex, national origin, economic and disability status and/or sexual orientation. We also will work to preserve the civil rights and liberties of all individuals.
