Beginning Spinning

Learn the skills necessary for spinning quality yarns for your knitting projects. You will learn how to choose and prepare a fleece for spinning, carding methods, spinning on a hand spindle and spinning wheels, plying techniques and how to wash and finish your skeins of yarn. Equipment and fiber are supplied for the class but if you have a wheel in working condition, please bring it with you to class.
