Temples
Temples, Stretchers or 'Tender Hooks' as some call them,
are used to keep weaving from drawing in. There are teeth
on the underside at the ends that are pushed into the selveges
of the fabric near the fell line. Temples are most often used for
rug weaving, for fine fabric (especially linen)
and for production weavers.
