A Word about Dyes

Mother Nature provides us with an exquisite palette of colors to choose from. There is an incredible energy in the colors that emerge from a natural dyepot. Indivdually, these colors are quite beautiful but are absolutely gorgeous when you put them together. Another interesting feature about natural dyeing is that many colors can be derived from the same dyepot by the use of different mordants and after baths. Natural dyeing can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be and you owe it to yourself to give it a try! I think you'll be happy you did!
