Our goal is to improve the CAT23 gaming environment through positive reinforcement by offering a fun and diversive way to applaud individual achievement.
Joining the Diplomacy Knights is easy and has only one prerequisite. If you have played a position, or GM'd a game, to it's conclusion in the Cat23 community,
simply drop a line to the Committee and you will be added to The Rank and File as a 'Page'.
Once in the system a DipKnight can move up the ranks by accumulating credits according to the following criteria;
Play a position from start to finish:5 credits
GM a game from start to finish:10 credits
Play as a replacement to finish:4 credits
GM as a replacement to finish:8 credits
(Note: Half credits will be awarded to games ended before the first person is eliminated.
Also, those games STARTING in RealTime[deadlnes less than 24 hours] will be awarded 6 credits for GM, 3 for players)
In order to log or 'cash in' earned credits, contact the Committee with the game number and the GM name.
Once verified the following chart is used to earn promotions;
1.Page ... any game completed in the Cat23 community
2.Squire ... Page with 10 credits
3.Mercenary Knight ... Squire with 10 credits
4.Bachelor Knight ... Mercenary Knight with 15 credits
5.Vassal Knight ... Bachelor Knight with 15 credits
6.Banneret ... Vassal Knight with 20 credits
7.Knight ... Banneret with 20 credits
8.Officer ... Knight with 50 credits
9.Lord ... Officer with 100 credits
10.Baron ... Lord with 100 credits
11.Viscount ... Baron with 150 credits
12.Earl ... Viscount with 150 credits
13.Marquesse ... Earl with 200 credits
14.Duke ... Marguesse with 400 credits
15.Royal Duke ... Duke with 500 credits
The Negative side.
Unfortunately, there is a negative side.
One of the goals to all this is to eliminate the abandonments.
If a DipKnight is reported to the Committee as having abandoned a game,
their name is included in the Dungeon.
It shall remain there for three months before being removed and forgotten,
If this person has rank above a Page they will lose one rank and any credits they currently own. For each
month this person is unavailable - one rank will be lost.
The last month a person is in the Dungeon as a Page, they are then removed from the system.
The Dungeon can be used by all GM's in Cat23, to determine if players are reliable for their game
BUT this is entirely on a volunteer basis.
In other words, GM's can only suggest DK's for the Dungeon, not Cat members who are NOT DK's.
There will be DipKnight games played whereby a player can earn more credits than a regular game, but players
will not even be considered for these games if they are in the Dungeon.

Remember;this system in no way implies the level of play for any individual. It merely tracks player loyalty to Cat23!
