History of the Cavalier

If you think that the Cavalier King Charles hasn't been around very long, then you are very wrong. Cavalier's first started popping up as lap dogs in Europe. They would provide warmth and comfort. They got their name from the kings in England named King Charles. England quickly became the home of the Cavaliers. One of the first Cavalier lovers was King Charles I. Unfortunately, his time was cut short, and so was his head. He and his dog were killed. But, this was not the end of the Cavalier. When Charles II came to the throne, he was a huge Cavalier fan. He always had many with him, which is very understandable. The Cavalier has now gotten more popular, and it is really the best dog ever.
