This project was started
by a teacher in France who wanted to join together with classes world wide
to have classes produce a month electronic newsletter on various topics.
Topics include things like student's hobbies, after-school activities,
a typical day at school, holidays and celebrations and class selected topics.
We were grouped with about 10 other schools with whom we exchanged our
newsletters each month from October through May. This project allowed my
students to do original writing, use e-mail as well as learn about cultures
in other parts of the world. This is a project that could be coordinated
by any classroom teacher by placing a call for participation on any listserv.
