Block Patch PotHolders

These potholders are fun to make and so quick! Make nice gifts.
Instructions
Block is made up of 2" squares of 2 different colors. Borders (also 2" wide) were put on top & bottom, then sides. Once block is made, make loop of border fabric. Place loop in one corner on right side of holder. Cut backing same size as block. For batting, use 3 layers terry towel. Place towelling down first, then quilt block right side up. On top of that in one corner pin loop, with raw edges even with block. On top of that place backing right side down. Sew all around outer edge using 1/4" seam. Make sure you've caught loop in stitching line. Leave opening about 3" wide along one edge to turn. Turn & machine stitch around entire edge, make sure opening was stitched closed. Use imagination & they're pretty as well as useful.
