Star
shining through the cold dark night
You
bring forth a pulsing light
Shadowed
figures dance to honor you
While
towers are built on which to view
Upon
all below you cast your spell
We
pause on mystic thought to dwell
Ponder
do we all upon your great power
We
send out wishes in the darkest of hours
A
fairy in flight with wing spectral sheen
Brings
to my mind that not yet seen
Refractions
of light from your traveling beam
Bring
to me a wondrous dream
Wake
me as the dark becomes dawn
When
your magic turns to dew on the lawn
