Baring it All (part 49)
Evidence
Detective Sellers walked into the crime lab quickly. The forensics detective told him that they had something important he thought the Detective should look at.
Louis was looking over a sheet of fingerprints, and looked up as the Detective walked in.
"What do you have to show me Lou? I was just about to call it a night and head home." He said
"These are the fingerprints we took from the pawnshop where Claude Rivers was arrested." He said handing the Detective the paper.
Detective Sellers sighed. He couldn't believe Lou was wasting his time with this. They had already compared the prints against the knife and they didn't match up. What was the point? He handed them back to Lou exasperated.
"We've been all over this Lou. River's prints are not on any of those knives." He said
"I know that but these are not Claude River's fingerprints. They were in the room when we dusted it but they don't belong to him." Louis said.
"Then who's are they?" Detective Sellers asked.
"We are running them through NCIC now looking for a match but I can tell you this much. They are the same prints that are on all of the knives."
"I'm going to get a search warrant for the pawn shop. Call me as soon as you get a match on the prints." Detective Sellers said as he ran out the door.
