The Bees, have 7 or 8 starters returning on both sides of the ball, including
two 3-year starters on the offensive line.
Last year's quarterback, TB, FB and two of the four receivers are all back.
"May see a couple of changes here and there," Head Coach Jeff Woody said.
"It's just our team's togetherness and the way we play together, we're a family.
We move as one, we are one. We love this sport and we're out here doing what we
love every day," Junior Fullback/Middle Linebacker Tyler Pitts said.
"These are the kids that have been playing together since rec league. So we all
know what we can do," Junior Center/Def. End Victor Montalbano said.

Martinsville, debuted their new, triple-option offense & outrushed Brookville
by 70 yards, but their QB's had 5 or 8 pass attempts picked off, 2 were for TD's
The visitors, meanwhile, looked seasoned in their no-huddle offense out of both
the I-formation and the spread, particularly QB Kendall Becraft, who completed
13 of 17 passes for 194 yards, including three touchdowns (to Fox, Walker and
Anderson) while finding five different Bee receivers.
Brookville ran away with the contest in a 35-point third quarter when Becraft
was at his best. The sophomore connected with Holton Walker in stride on a play-
action rollout for a 37-yard touchdown to open the second half, then later found
Anderson on an 11-yard fade to the corner of the end zone that had to be perfect
to be completed.

Deshon Foxx plays football and runs track for Brookville High School.
After returning the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown with just :07
elapsed Friday night, Foxx had one thought.
It would be great if that clock operator was timing my track meets," he said.
OK, so the official's trigger was slow, but Brookville wasn't. The Bees got
3 TD passes from Soph. Kendall Becraft en route to a 28-14 victory over Liberty
in a battle of Seminole Dist. unbeatens ranked in the top five of The AP Poll.
Bees led 14-0 at h/t on HC night. Lib. tied it up w/ 2 TDs in the 3rd, then
the Bees had 2 TDs in the 4th.
Becraft had 245 yards passing... team had just 42 yards rushing

Amherst feature a formidable 3-5 defense capable of disrupting Brookville's
spread attack orchestrated by sophomore quarterback Kendall BeCraft, and their
off. is the Wing-T. Brook led 14-3 at the half, then Amh switched to the Single
Wing Spin offense. Devonte Brown lined up at QB on the first play of the second
half, took the snap, spun around to fake a handoff and then took off down the
right sideline for a 73-yard touchdown run. Amh won 31-14. They blitzed from
every angle in their aggressive 3-5-3 package and sacked QB Kendall BeCraft 6
times after the break.

Deshon Foxx didn't play much slot receiver, if any at all, before this season,
but the Sr. has quickly become very fond of the position. He cought 3 passes,
all TDs, in a 41-14 win over E.C. Glass. He has proved to be a matchup
problem wherever he lines up,

BeCraft was 12 of 15 for 438 yards & 4 TDs in a 48-35 win over Jefferson Forest
----- Northside
K Alan Gutierrez missed a 26-yard FGA wide right from the right hash mark with
just over three minutes left. Then Jr. LB Michael Carwile's hit on Northside
QB Adam Hardister as he released a third-down pass led to an INT by 250-pound
Sr. lineman Brett Woolard, who rumbled 16 yards down to Northside’s 5.
Gutierrez then hit an 18-yarder with 2:05 to go to give Brookville a 12-10
win over the defending Group AA, Division 3, champion Vikings, avenging a 21-13
loss in last year’s region semifinals.
The Bees got on the board first when RB Ben Simmons broke straight up the
middle out of the backfield to catch a 65-yard TD pass from BeCraft. But
Shane Wood missed the extra point kick.
Two plays later, Hardister connected with Tyler Goodman for a 61-yard scoring
pass. Sean Joyner kicked the extra point for a 7-6 Vikings lead that would hold
up until the half
Guitierrez kicked a 30-yard field goal to give Brookville the lead in the
third quarter, but Northside took the lead right back with a 23-yard kick by
Joyner to go into the fourth quarter with a 10-9 lead.

last week, Liberty kicked their 1st FG of the season to go up 3-0 and scored a
TD when a fumble on a hit was recovered in mid-air and taken 50 yards by the 2nd
guy. Brookville kicked a FG and had the ball when a Ben Simmons fumble was
returned 19 yards for a touchdown to put the Liberty back up 15-3. Bur after a
lengthy conversation, the officials ruled that Simmons never had control of the
football, calling the play an incomplete pass. The TD was overturned, and the
Liberty coaching staff went ballistic. A Brookville punt pinned Liberty deep in
its own territory. But a Liberty pass was picked off, giving the Bees the ball
at the Liberty 44 with :08 remaining. BeCraft dropped back and threw a streak
to Rec. Travis Riley down the left sideline. Riley caught it in the end zone,
giving the Bees a 10-9 lead at the half, and "Uncle Mo".
After halftime, TB Deshon Foxx took over in the Wildcat. Simmons was the
workhorse, every-down back, then Foxx scored on a 5-yard run to push the lead to 17-9.
In the 4th, the Bees had a 2nd-and-8 from their own 42. Foxx again lined up at
QB, took the snap, rolled right and appeared to be stopped. But Foxx shook him
off and cut back to the left. Most Minutemen players thought the play was over,
and Foxx had a clear lane to the end zone. The 58-yard TD run pushed the lead
to 24-9 with 9:03 to play
Foxx scored the back-breaking touchdown early in the fourth quarter. With the
Bees facing 2nd-and-8 from their own 42, Foxx again lined up at quarterback,
took the snap, rolled right and appeared to be corralled by a Liberty defender.
But Foxx shook him off and cut back to the left. Most Minutemen players thought
the play was over, and Foxx had a clear lane to the end zone, the 58-yard TD run
pushing the lead to 24-9 with 9:03 to play. Foxx later sealed the game with an
84-yard interception return, and Brookville won 26-9
