past SWVA enrollment numbers - 4/2/2008
The first complete list I have is for 1987 - it only has the football-playing
schools, so I don't know the numbers for the tiny schools.
(* Whitewood's 1987 number is the actual number of 9th, 10th & 11th graders
that were pictured in their 1987 annual, which I found at the library.)
Pre-2003 enrollment numbers are for 3 grades.
The 2008 list uses grades 9-12, so I've reduced that by 25% for a good estimate.
I set this up using the 1987 alignment as my starting point. That was the
first year of Divisions 1 & 2 for all 3 Groups, and AA was still 500-999.
