    JM had never trailed by more than 7 this season until the 1st Q,   scored 3 TDs in 200 seconds around halftime, and COULD'VE won it w/a last-play safety after getting picked at the 1, but an offsides & TWO personal fouls moved the ball out to the 37;     JM won the oh-so-important time-of-possession battle 31:30 to 16:30

JM finished 2nd in the state in scoring margin (489) & 1st in points (669) despite playing 1 less game than Galax

      3rd time WAS the charm for Brookville...
JM beat the Bees 7-0 in '96 when head coach Jeff Woody was a receiver, & 50-46 in 2008 when Sr. Logan Thomas set a "state" AA playoff record w/393 passing yards
      JM also won state in 86 & 87 and lost in 70
      Bees also lost in 88 & 73, and won in 99 (over Gate City)
