Dottie, Short for Dorothy May Leverington, a true admirer of the "Big Band's Sound" was a native of Lansing Michigan. As a young woman she was involved in the World War Two effort, Dottie went to work building Aircraft for the Military, Dottie was responsible for the proper installation of the elevators of the craft (flaps).

She was an avid Cross Bow Hunter, Fisherman, Water skier and Dancer, not to mention the most loving Mom one could ever have!!

Dottie moved to Miami Florida in the mid 1950's where she had a wonderful life. Dottie was a professional Hairdresser which she did very well, the best part of her life was raising me and my two Kid Sisters Sandy and Barbara.

Dottie retired and moved to Port St. Lucie Florida in the early 1980's where she lived with her husband Jimmy till her parting. She is missed dearly.

Survivors include myself, my Dear Sister Sandy Cowan of New Braunfels Texas, I am sad to say Dotties Brother Robert Leverington of East Lansing Michigan passed away on December 30 2006 and is now also with Jesus. And let us not forget all the Grandchildren, we all miss and love you Mom.....
