Temple of Midori

When you first walk into the entry hall, you are greeted by warm fires and lush green surroundings; large persian rugs, plump feather pillows, bottles of the finest wines, bowls filled to overflowing with fresh fruits and other delicious food. As you gaze around the room you see many different colored doors and passageways, each one leading to...well..you don't know where yet, but you can tell just by looking at them that wherever they lead will be worth a look.
Without quite knowing why, you look up and notice a tapestry. It seems to be a landscape of sorts. There numerous couples, dressed in renaissance looking garb, dancing in a forest glade under the moon. There is what appears to be a silver border around the edge of the scence. Upon further inspection you see there are actually words written in the border:
"FOR ALL THOSE WHO VENTURE FORTH
PLEASE DO SO WITH AN OPEN MIND
AND A WILLING HEART.
FOR ONLY THEN SHALL YOU TRUELY SEE
THE FOREST FOR THE TREES."
Below the tapestry you see a small, finely carved oak shelf (almost as if it was made by the hands of gnomes). On the shelf are a few very old and dusty looking books. On the spine of the first one you see:

you open it and begin to read
I go by Lady Ariadne Aurora Midori, in this screen life. As of now, I am 25(geez. i'm getting old) and live in central Florida (although i AM TRYING hard to move back to Virginia..or anywhere north for that matter!). I have stormy green (with hints of hazel) eyes, and chestnut hair, and I stand an impressive 5'6.5".
I am a self proclaimed artist, shrink, and bitchy freak, just ask any of my friends, and they might tell you how helpful I sometimes am.. or they might run screaming. I am a semisuccessful matchmaker, except when it comes to myself. I am currently trying to find matches for a few of my priestesses:
Lady Nessa : high priestess in the Temple of the Dirty Mind
Lady Dev: high priestess in training (currently MIA! Dev we miss ya!!)
Lady Katherine: current keeper of the flame in the Temple of the Pure (although not of mind ;) )
Lady Intricate: keeper of the Dragons
I am currently going to school to get my degree and I also work out of my home, trying to perfect my craft. And what is that exactly? Well, if you don't know the craft, then your missing something. It means talking to the moon and dancing in the morning dew..wishing upon rainbows and mixing potions under candlelight. It means looking for Pixies and Gnomes in the dark earthy woods.
As you can tell by this page, I am unorganized, and an amateur packrat (just TRY and catch me when my room is clean! ha!), and bad speller (I believe my lack of grammatical excellence is quite charming ;) ). I am also a collector of all things Jim Henson (muppets, fraggles, farscape, etc), Brian and Wendy Froud, Fantasy, Faerie, and Funny. ;) Sometimes you will find something on this page and say to yourself, "WHAT IN HADES IS THIS FOR?"...well ask me! So I wish you all good luck in understanding my messed up mind...uh...I mean webpage..er, Temple! Any comments or praises, feel free to email me.
