SHIRTS
Most of my production shirts are made in bleached muslin as this plain weave of cotton material most closely resembles the Holland linen that most shirts of the 15th through the 19th century were made of. The average shirt of this era was made of four yards of material and only fit through gatherings about the shoulders. The bodies and sleeves were voluminous.
