This is Zip It, out of our very own Merry Brandybuck. We are so thrilled to bring this small, sharp, angular buck into our herd. With the lovely mammary systems on both sides of his pedigree we expect him to make some wonderful contributions to our breeding program. As an added bonus, Zip It is also polled.

Zip It is returning home to Old Mountain Farm in Maine. He has produced some beautiful babies for us and it was a very difficult decision to let him go. If we didn't already have two other closely related bucks this boy wouldn't be going anywhere. We'll miss you Zip!!

We are very excited about bringing this small, flashy angular boy to Springs Run. Boones is even more impressive than his photo. He's well balanced and beautiful on the move. And, to top it all off, he has some outstanding mammary system genetics behind him.

Boones had produced some gorgeous babies for us here at Springs Run. Since we have retained an outstanding son, Boones is moving on to West Virginia, where he'll have the opportunity to contribute his wonderful genetics to the Country Bumpkins Herd.

Zephyr is very long and level with beautiful thin dairy skin. He is smoothly blended with good angulation and has exceptional width in the rear. He is the son of one our favorite does who excels in strong, correct structure with a well attached udder and excellent medial. His dam, Lemondrop, has one GCH and two reserve GCH wins in milk. She was also AGS classified as "excellent" as an aged doe.

Zephyr has moved on to a wonderful new home with the Limestone Kids herd in Leesburg, Virginia where he'll have lots of new girlfriends. We're certainly going to miss him, but know he'll be very happy producing lots of pretty babies for his new owners.

Pimlico is pale gold and white, carrying chamoisee. He's extremely long bodied and level with high withers and a very tight, smoothly blended front end. Pimlico has shown that he can improve shoulders, increase length of body, flatten rumps and improve angulation. His offspring include one GCH Junior doe, one reserve GCH Junior doe and one reserve GCH Senior buck. He is now proving himself in the mammary department as well as his daughters are freshening with very nice udders, well balanced and well attached.

To make room for our future herdsires, Pimlico has moved to the Pemberly Acres herd at Cornerstone Farm in Aroda, Virginia. We're going to miss this pretty boy, but feel fortunate to have his son, grandson and several daughters to pass on his wonderful genetics.

"Minute" is a beautiful refined broken buckskin from an outstanding mammary background. He has good angularity, thin soft skin, open ribbing and a long rump. The only fault we can find is a slight toeing out in front. But overall, we're very pleased at how this little guy is turning out and have very high hopes for the mammary systems he will produce in his daughters.

Update: As of October, 2004, Minute's two littermate sisters have garnered a total of 4 GCH and 6 RGCH wins along with 2 Best of Breed and 3 Best Udder awards. The mammary systems on these does are just awesome!

Minute Man now resides at Kid'n Acres in Chesapeake, VA, where he'll be making some beautiful babies for the Aguirre family. Our congratulations to Minute Man and the Aguirre's for Minute's GCH win at the 2006 Appalachian Spring Nigerian Dwarf Goat Show.

We are very excited about adding Silver to our herd. His full sister ARMCH STS Caesar's Villa Suthrn Bell 2*D was the 2003 AGS Reserve National Champion doe and we are expecting some great things from this handsome boy. He is long and well angulated with high withers and widely spaced ribs and has excellent width in the chest and in the rear.

Silverodol has joined the herd at Featherbed Farm. We'll miss this beautiful boy and most likely will be bringing more of his outstanding genetics back into the herd. Thanks, Stephanie for giving our Silver a loving home with lots of pretty new lady friends.
