Please join us for the first annual Indian Summer Silky Shows. We’ll have three MSFGA sanctioned shows in two days. If you’ve never shown before, this is a wonderful opportunity to get your feet wet in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It’s also a great way to promote the breed as well as your own Mini Silky breeding program. If you don't have Mini Silkies, come and meet these gorgeous creatures in person. But be warned, these little goats are very addictive!

We will also be offering an informal and "fun" showmanship clinic for folks who are new to showing and for those who would like some helpful hints on showing off their Mini Silkies to their best advantage. The clinic will take place prior to the morning show on Saturday. It's free to all exhibitors, so don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to get pointers from a goat judge with many years of showing and teaching experience.

Please mark your calendar and plan to attend this very special event.

Updates!!
We are very happy to announce, that due to a recent change in policy for the importation of goats into Virginia, TB and Brucellosis testing will not be required for goats entering the State for show or exhibition purposes only. However, for goats that are over 6 months old that are entering the State to be sold, TB and Brucellosis testing is required. For additional details, please reference the Show Information Packet. Health certificates will be required for all goats coming into Virginia from other States.

We know it takes a lot of energy preparing for a show and a commitment to the breed to dedicate a weekend to attending shows. We really appreciate everyone who goes the extra mile to support the shows, so, to help offset the cost of rising gas prices, we'll be having a special raffle for a cash prize. Exhibitors will receive one free raffle ticket for each goat entered in each show. Of course, the more goats you enter and the more shows you enter, the better your chances of winning!

We are now accepting entry fees via PayPal. If you would like to use PayPal, please click on the PayPal button below.
