Introducing our herd sires.....
(Updated 1/17/09)
 Buck Secrets
We think all of these boys have a lot to offer in terms of dairy character, conformation and great mammary backgrounds.
Not only that, but they are as sweet as you could ask for!
Please note:  We do not currently offer buck service except in limited, selective situations where it is part of a sales agreement and only then with appropriate health screening.

2002 Culpeper ND Show, Culpeper, VA K. Harrell Senior Champion and GCH Buck
2002 Culpeper ND Show, Culpeper, VA T. Biddle Senior Champion and GCH Buck

Haiku is a beautiful buckskin/cou clair blend being very smoothly blended with an uphill stance and good width between the hocks. We're very excited about the possibility of adding cou clair color to our herd as an added bonus to the wonderful mammary systems we expect Haiku to pass on to his daughters. His dam, Lyric, has a beautiful udder, high and widely attached with good capacity. Haiku's first kids at Springs Run are gorgeous. He is passing on the rare (in Nigerians) cou clair color pattern to many of his kids along with strong general appearance.

AGS Show
2007 Appalachian Spring ND Show, Warrenton, VA T. Biddle Get of Sire Winner

"Moon" is the combination of two outstanding dairy type animals. He brings together the stronger features of both of his parents. He is long and angular with high sharp withers, a tight front end and straight legs. He also has a beautiful head and sports a pretty pair of wattles. While Moonshine has never been shown due to a leg injury, his daughters are freshening with beautiful, well attached, capacious udders.

Springs Run Haiku's Hasu

Hasu is a small mahogany and black cou clair buck with a white belly band. He has tremendous width in the rear and a nice tight front end. He's also very smoothly blended, stands on strong feet and legs and has a beautiful head. Hasu's first daughters are gorgeous, one placing first in her class in the ANDDA specialty show at the 2005 AGS Nationals.

Springs Run BNS Bolero

Lost Valley TB Boones *S (MCH Lost Valley Tae-Bo *S E X Lost Valley Zinfandel 3*D)
Dam: Buttin'Heads Chamaca (Buttin'Heads Zip of Champagne *S X ARMCH Buttin'Heads Donsxto Seanorita 5*D)

Bolero was on our sales list for a short while but as we've watched him develop, we've become more and more impressed with this young buck. Before we move him on, he'll get his chance to prove himself in our herd and we're anxious to see what he produces for us. Bolero is very long bodied and smoothly blended. His dam is perhaps the most dairy doe in the herd with a fantastic mammary system, with excellent rear height, very good capacity and all around area of attachment. We plan to post some updated photos of this pretty boy soon!
(1st option on Bolero - CMS)
