august, 2000...a very "be away from the computer" type of month. lately i have occupied myself with crawling through caves, climbing up mountains, and sitting in my little white room learning how to better improvise over changes. it's hard. i'm not very good at it. but it's coming along, and everything has been good. this air now seems much milder than that in years past, and while everything is far from being calm and quiet, that feeling is staying with me.
