Realization
One day we awoke to a different light
And decided this would be the night.
We found it was our time to change
While slowly trekking in the rain.
Faster, faster now we run
Underneath the blinding sun,
And dance, treading merrily
On hope of things supposed to be
Crushing dust and breaking chains
That locked away the deepest pain.
Pushing onward to the sky
Onward, upward, till we die
Of happiness and ecstasy
Joy, for now we plainly see
That life is really just a dream
Such foolishness that we could scream!
For now we know that we can fly
Up to our castle in the sky.
