Why "Memel Imperative Ltd."?

We knew you'd ask.

Memel, once a city in East Prussia, is where the boss' ancestors are from.

It is now in Lithuania, and is called Klaipeda -- a lovely ancient city on the Baltic.

The Boss uses the phrase "it's a moral imperative!" rather often,

because she has a high sense of rectitude.

Once she slipped and said "Memel imperative!" and it stuck.

Go figure....
