The gift of submission is a very tender flower that when it comes into full blooming beauty is
a thing to behold. The seed is there in all of us, waiting to be nourished and protected by a
loving gardener. As long as we live we send out tiny shoots, striving to reach the sunlight. If
left in the wild, that shoot rarely, if ever grows to produce the beauty that is within. Yet
placed in a protected garden, the tender plant grows and blooms and creates beauty for all to
see. It then produces the new seed for the future generations.
By nature a submissive must seek the strength and protection necessary to bring that flower
to bloom and when she find it , she places her absolute trust in the caretaker. When nurtured
she will provide joy and pleasure beyond imagining. Her entire being is spent serving and
striving to satisfy the caretaker of the garden.
Under a loving Gardener, she will grow in beauty and confidence. She will then be able to
share with her sisters the help they need to grow also. Her whole life is affected by her
relationship with her caretaker. She grows personally as well as professionally by what he
teaches her and how he trains her.
She is very vulnerable to predators and abusive caretakers and if neglected or abused will
become stunted or deformed. Instead of a beautiful Blossom, a horrible weed will be
produced that can only be removed from the garden. He beauty is diminished and the whole
garden is affected.
The greatest gardeners do not take joy in destroying the tender stems but rather lovingly
prunes away the dead or dying branches that sap the strength from the bloom. Lovingly
cared for, the bloom no only will provide years of beauty, but will also withstand the storms
and diversity that comes into every garden. Others will look at her beauty and realize the
potential of their own flowers and will strive to learn how to produce similar results.
Some caretakers feel they are able to nurture a whole garden alone but even so there is
always that one special bloom that out shines the others to the point it glows. He loves it and
guides it and protects it and knows that it is for his hand alone she responds and shines. In
his garden she will always have the joy of serving and pleasing.
I heard a song once that was so apt.. that I just had to share it now.. This is what is in the
heart of the submissive.
As the deer pants for the water
So my soul long after you.
You alone are my heart’s desire
And I long to worship you.
I want you more than Gold or Silver
Only you can satisfy
You alone are the real Joy giver
And the apple of my eye.
You alone are my strength my shield
To you alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart’s desire
And I long to worship you.
I Transplanted
A Delicate Flower Into My Garden
With Words That Bud But Rarely Bloom
I Touch Her Petals, Speaking Gently To Her
Coaxing Her Beauty To Uncurl.
I rejoice in you. May your pleasures always be mine to fulfill.
