Might that be what the majority of you are thinking? (Majority in this situation being only about 3 people... Hi Musso, Scorch, and Teck!). Well there is somebody over here just there havn't been many LAN Parties that I have been able to attend. My schedule now allows me to goto Fri-Sat LAN Parties but not on Sat-Sun unless planned way in advance. This past weekend there was a LAN over at Satan's house and of course I wasn't able to attend because I was first out of town for a family re-union (damn I wish my Aunts and Uncles would play Q3A), then I went over to my girlfriends house and had a blast for the rest of the weekend. I think I will take the majority of today working on my main website (3DNow.net), then the rest of the day working on this site. Perhaps installing a news script if it is allowed by the servers here at Angelfire. I have considered moving this site elsewhere but Angelfire has done me pretty good thus far, sometimes they can be slow but overall its a good free host.
Before I forget I want to say that I am going to "try" and host a large event at a neutral location first weekend of January. This will be my first large scale event (well large being 25+ members). Sponsors are in the works and as we know they can be VERY helpful in the long run. I might also be taking another job which means more money for the LANs and that translates into better frozen pizza (hah), actually it translats into better servers/network/housing/etc.... . Alrighty, well I am done for now. I will be working on getting a news script up on the site but no promise as to if I will actually post an additional news today. Until next time keep LANing hard!

Ok Guy (since my audience proly consists of one person) let me explain what has been going on.
I have recently aquired a new website, 3DNow.net, and it has been consuming all of my time. I have had a few LAN Parties and have been thinking about my next big LAN just recently and I realized that it is only about 3 months away from the New Years. And as most people know I always try and host a big LAN Party on the new years or near it. Although this year New Years falls on a Monday (Jan 1st) there is a weekend just begging to be 0wnzed! So what do I say? I say get those PCs... nab some sponsors... and grab your Blue Bawls! (Bawls being a drink... BAWLS) for some Fraggin Action! Now for the goodies!
I know you guys have been wanting me to have yet another LAN with sponsors so here we go again! I am going to start emailing our good ol' buddies at Karna LC, Logitech, Microsoft (ewww... shudder), AMD, BAWLS® Guarana, Jolt Cola, RC Cola (Edge Cola), Asus, D-Link, Netgear, and whomever else is still willing to talk. As you all know from last time when there are prizes the competition gets heated. But damnit people we play for fun not just for prizes! Last time we had someone show who was there just for the prizes. I didn't not sense him having a good time but I did sense him being a killing machine as he raped us good. So this year we are going to FORCE you to have a good time and if you don't look like your having fun I will kick your arse OUT! No more Mr. Nice PK. If you walk off winning damn near $200 worth of prizes you had better at least say you had SOME fun. Oh yes and kiddies! If you bring a friend and you don't tell me. I will charge you... oh yes... I will charge you..... woah... HEY there... calm down PK... . .. calm down! ok... ok.

Back to the LAN. I havn't yet come up with a name so I will generate a Poll for the names. Expect that to pop up soon. The games played will also be placed on a poll (we will pick from 4 games that will be played as a competition for prizes).
Alot of the past LAN Parties I have hosted have been rather small with anywhere from 4 people to 12 people and sometimes a bit more with walk-ins, so I want to plan something a bit larger. I am looking for a place to rent that will have jack for rules... somewhere we can go and pretty much destroy without having to pay for it (hahaha!... no really. Some place we can go and stay two days at and have a people remain at the location or stay at hotels close by but allow 24/7 access to their PCs). In order to do this we are going to need money so I am going to start a fun for raising money to do this. Anyone who wants to support us can. More than likely I will pay the bulk as I did last time (about $600 worth of food/snacks/network parts/and server upgrades), but at least some help would be nice.
