Tribes wandering
through chaotic ages
of cannibal vendetta
struggle to evolve
an imperial majesty
of civil organization -
but stumble upon
city states involved
in the Royal hierarchy
of oppressive laws,
suffering relief
in revolutions
that somehow devolve
toward tribal anarchy -
when in passing
both pause
for astonished recognition
and willing disbelief
pushing onward
each captive destination.
