IT'S SIMPLE

When everyone steals,
we're angry and frightened
by all the crooked deals
and acts of brutality.
When everyone gives,
most are content
to work and cooperate
for peace and prosperity,
except those secretly
so terrified and furious
at their natural mortality,
with demonic guile
they entrap the people
in their many games
of deceit and denial,
like getting rich and famous,
which all things considered
in this crazy World,
who can blame us (?)
