Eco-Burlesque

For grim sport
S.S. Sandy sailed
up the Atlantic coast
and soon made port
in many villages,
towns and cities
where millions failed
to politely host
or gently shorten
the swirling rounds
and roaring sounds
of superstorm ditties
played to astound
deniers who twist
the facts and roast
any deeply worried
ecologists.
