over eons of evolution,
so clever, ambitious humans
have had two epochs of time
to build this modern graphic
of ancient Imperial Rome
where wilderness Earth
is trapped and enslaved
in the extended back yards
of plush and flowered homes,
but never far enough away
from their own year-round traffic,
its deadly, growing swish
so zealously expanding
their ever-increasing
